Jaipur Ragistration Centre

You can find us at Johari Bazar, right on KGB Ka Rasta at number 4806. If you have ever been to Johari Bazar, you know it is one of the most crowded places in Jaipur. There are rickshaws everywhere and people shouting. Our office is tucked away in one of those narrow lanes. Jaipur Ragistration Centre is a small place where we help people with their paperwork. It’s mostly desks piled high with forms and official-looking stamps. We don't have much space, so it gets a bit tight when more than three people are inside at the same time. The walls are lined with shelves that have seen better days. I’ve worked here for a long time, and I’ve seen the market change quite a bit. But our work stays the same. People come in needing something registered or a document checked, and we sit there and go through the lines. The light in the back is a bit dim, so we use desk lamps even during the day. Sometimes the tea boy forgets our order, or the fan starts making a clicking sound that drives us crazy. We just keep going because people need their papers sorted. It’s not fancy work, and the building is quite old with those steep stairs that make your legs ache. We just do what needs to be done every day to keep the records straight. There is always more paper to go through before we can head home.
