Jaipur National University

This address is actually a house in Indra Inclave, Seemadwar, over in Dehradun. It is House Number 323. Naveen Shah lives here, and this is where some of the work for Jaipur National University happens when we are in this part of the country. It is a quiet neighborhood, not a big school building with classrooms. If you walked past, you would just see a normal gate and maybe some plants. We handle things from the home office here. It is a bit different than being in a big city like Jaipur. Here in Dehradun, the air is a bit cooler and things move slower. My desk is in the front room where I can see the street. I spend my day answering emails and dealing with letters that come for the university. Sometimes people show up at the door looking for a campus, and I have to explain that this is just a contact point for the university affairs. It can get a bit confusing for them, especially if they traveled a long way. I have my computer set up and a couple of filing cabinets. It’s just me and sometimes a helper who comes by. We don't have a big sign out front because it's a residential area. I make my own coffee and work through the stack of papers on my table. It’s a simple way to manage the work without the noise of a huge office environment. We just keep the files moving along.
