We have been running things here at Plot No. 4 in Dc Heights for a while now. The location is right by Ambey Nagar Kanta Chouraha, so there is always noise and traffic outside. Most mornings begin way before the sun is up. Getting the ovens going and prepping for the day takes a lot of effort. It is physical work, involving heavy flour bags and constant cleaning. Our small team consists of local guys who know Jhotwara well. You won't see any fancy signs or big marketing budgets here. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or are passing through for work. Even though the shop isn't huge, we make the space work for us. Sometimes the power cuts out or a machine breaks down, forcing us to fix things on the fly. That is the reality of running a small bakery. Our main focus is just getting the daily bakes finished. If you walk past Dc Heights early on, the smell of fresh bread usually hits the street. It is a tough business that keeps us connected to the local community. We just try to get things right for the folks who stop in. It is not a perfect setup, but it is our life and we enjoy the routine of it all. There is something satisfying about seeing the racks full at the start of the day and empty by the end of it.
