Jain Stone Supplying Company

We started Jain Stone Supplying Company quite a while back. We're situated right in the down area of Chomu Puliya, not too far from Senapati House on Kalwar Road. Dealing with stones is just what we do every day. It’s heavy work, mostly involving loading and unloading blocks or tiles for local builders and people fixing up their houses. The yard stays busy. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just part of the trade. We keep various types of stone around because you never know what someone might need for a floor or a wall. People usually just drop by the Kalwar Road spot when they’re looking for something specific. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a place where the work happens. My family has been around this area for a long time, so we know the neighbors and the local contractors pretty well. We try to keep things simple. If we have the stone you want, we tell you. If we don’t, we see if we can get it. Most of our days are spent checking the stock and talking to drivers. It isn't glamorous work, but it's steady. We see a lot of people coming through Chomu Puliya looking for materials. The location helps because it's easy to find once you know where Senapati House is. We're just here doing the work, day in and day out. It gets loud with the trucks, but we don't mind much.
