Jae

Jae is over here in Pratap Nagar, specifically at 85 68 in Sanganer, Jaipur. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, but this area has its own rhythm. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time. The address is a bit confusing for delivery drivers sometimes because the numbering on this street is a little odd. We usually have to stand outside and wave them down. The space inside isn't very big, but we’ve made it comfortable enough to spend the whole day in. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down that makes the best ginger chai, so we end up there at least twice a day. The floor here is a bit uneven, but you get used to it after walking on it for a week. We keep the inventory stacked near the back wall to save some room for walking around. Jaipur gets really hot, so the afternoons are usually pretty quiet when everyone stays inside. We use that time to catch up on paperwork or just tidy up the front area. It’s just a regular local business life. Nothing too fancy or exciting happens, just the usual daily tasks. We know the neighbors well and we all look out for each other's shops when someone has to step out for a bit. That’s just how things go around here in Sanganer. It is a simple life for us.
