India Stone Impex is located at B-10 Chitragupt Nagar Ii Imli Phatak. If you know the Imli Phatak area, you know it can get pretty crowded with traffic and people going about their business. We fit right in there. Our space is filled with different types of stone that we bring in and send out. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the right crates are going to the right places. The office is small and usually has stacks of paper on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. Stone is heavy and awkward to move, so we’re always careful when we’re loading up. We don’t really go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who have been dealing with us for a long time. They know where we are and what we do. Sometimes we get a new customer who just walked in because they saw the sign. We just show them what’s in the back and let the stone speak for itself. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when a shipment is late, but we just take it as it comes. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay busy and keep the yard moving. There's always a new load to check and another truck on the way.
