Ijya Social Welfare Foundation

Ijya Social Welfare Foundation is based in Bhiwadi, at THD Thada L-35. Bhiwadi can be a pretty industrial and dusty place, so we try to provide some social welfare support to the people living and working here. Our address is 301019, and we’ve been operating from this location for some time. It’s a straightforward setup. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. We just focus on the social issues that pop up in our neighborhood. Sometimes it’s about helping a family, other times it’s a bigger community thing. We don’t really follow a strict script. We just see what’s going on and try to be helpful. The L-35 spot is easy to get to once you’re in the Thada area. We have a few staff members who live nearby, so they know the area inside and out. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we wonder if we’re doing enough, but we keep showing up anyway. We like the fact that we’re right here on the ground. We aren't some distant organization. We’re part of the fabric of Bhiwadi. People know they can find us if they need a hand with something. We try to keep things real and not get caught up in how things look from the outside. It’s just about being human and looking after one another. That's the way we've always done it here. It's not perfect, but it's what we do.
