I P Sharma

Our place is B 7 in Transport Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s full of trucks and loud engines and plenty of dust. That’s where I P Sharma is located. We handle transport and logistics, which basically means we spend our time coordinating where things need to go and how to get them there. The office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. It’s a busy environment and there is always someone coming in or out. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. We are just regular people in work clothes trying to keep the schedules moving. Things go wrong sometimes, like a truck getting stuck in traffic or a flat tire on the highway, and we have to figure out a way to fix it. We’ve been in Transport Nagar for a long time, and we know most of the drivers by name. We often sit outside on plastic chairs having tea while we wait for the next load to arrive. We don’t bother with marketing or big promises. We just tell you what we can do and then we try our best to do it. It’s a gritty, noisy job, but we like the pace of it. Every day is a little different depending on what needs to be moved and where the drivers are.
