If you are looking for us, we are right on Tonk Road in the Lalkothi area. Hotel S K Paradise is situated pretty close to the Laxmi Mandir Cinema, which is a place most people in Jaipur know. The traffic on Tonk Road can get pretty bad during the rush hours, so we hear a lot of horns and engines from the front. It’s a busy part of town to be in. We’ve got a mix of regular guests who come every month and people who just found us because they were at the cinema or doing something nearby. The building isn't new, so it has some quirks here and there. Maybe a door squeaks or a light switch is in an odd place, but it's home to us. We spend our days making sure the floors are swept and the linens are changed out. It's a lot of work running a place like this in Jaipur, especially when the heat starts to pick up in the summer months. We try to keep things simple. There isn't any big corporate manual we follow, just common sense and trying to be decent to the people who walk through the door. Most of the staff have been here for a bit, so we know how to handle the busy weekends. It’s just a standard hotel for people who need a bed. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just keep the lights on and the rooms ready for whoever arrives.
