Hotel Archana

You can find us at 5 Station Road on Vanashthali Marg. We are right near Hotel Goyal, which everyone knows around here. It’s a very busy street with a lot of noise from the rickshaws and buses. My family has been running Hotel Archana for a long time. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just me and a couple of workers who have been with us for ten years. We have rooms for all sorts of people. Some people stay for weeks and some just for a few hours. The furniture is a bit old but it’s solid wood. We don't see the point in buying that cheap plastic stuff. The lobby is small and we usually have the news playing on a small TV. If you’re hungry, there are plenty of spots nearby, but we can make some tea if you’re tired. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. I just write things down in a big ledger book when people check in. It’s the way we’ve always done it. Sometimes the internet doesn't work so well because of the old walls, but most people don't mind much. They just want a place to stay that isn't too expensive. We try to keep the prices fair for everyone. It’s just a normal hotel for normal people visiting the city. We keep the keys behind the desk and someone is always here to let you in.
