Hotel Kailash

Being located right in Johari Bazar means there is never a quiet moment around here. We are situated near Agrasen Market, which is one of the busiest parts of the city. If you walk out our front door, you are right in the middle of all the jewelry shops and people rushing around. Hotel Kailash has been part of this street for quite some time now. We occupy a spot that feels very much like old Jaipur. The building shows its age in some places, but we think that’s just part of being in a historic market area. Our days usually start early when the shopkeepers nearby begin opening up their stalls. We spend most of our time answering the phone and checking people in. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the dust from the street, but we try our best to keep the rooms tidy for guests. Most people who stay with us are here for business in the market or just want to be close to the center of things. We aren't trying to be a five-star place. We are just a local hotel providing a place to sleep for people who need to be in Johari Bazar. Sometimes the stairs are a bit narrow and the hallways are small, but that is how these old buildings are. It’s a family-style environment here, and we just take things one day at a time. It gets crowded on festival days, but that's just life here.
