Hdfc Bank

We are out in Vill Chainpura, which is under the Post Nayabas in the Teh Bansur area. This is part of the Alwar district in Rajasthan. It’s a rural setting, so things move a bit slower out here than they do in the big cities. The Hdfc Bank here serves the local village folks and people from the surrounding fields. It’s a dusty road that leads up to our place. We don't have a big fancy glass building, just a simple structure that fits in with the rest of Chainpura. During the harvest season, it gets quite busy with people coming in and out. The rest of the time, it’s fairly peaceful. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s hot in Rajasthan, so we do our best to keep the place comfortable with what we have. There’s no big marketing team here, just a couple of us handling the accounts and the cash. We usually have a bit of a chat with whoever stops by. The post office is nearby in Nayabas, so we get our mail from there. It’s a straightforward life working in this branch. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. It’s just about getting the work done for the people in the district. The floor is concrete and we have a small wooden desk near the front for people to use while filling out their forms.
