Gyaan Veethika Foundation

Gyaan Veethika Foundation is based right here in Machawa, over at T-23 on the second street in Ashiana Manglam. It's just off Kalwar Road in Jaipur. A few of us from around here decided to get this started because we noticed things in our village that needed a bit of attention. We don't have some big corporate office or anything fancy like that. It’s just this spot where we meet up and try to figure out how to help. Sometimes the traffic on Kalwar Road is a real nightmare, but we still make it in every day. We spend most of our time chatting with the neighbors and seeing where we can lend a hand. We aren't trying to be some massive organization. We are just local people, really. Usually, someone is hanging around the office if you ever want to stop by and say hello. We’ve been at this address for a little while now and most people in the area know who we are. It is much quieter out here than it is in the middle of Jaipur city. We don't really do any advertising or stuff like that. Most people just hear about us from their friends or by walking past our door. We just deal with whatever problems come up in our community. It is a lot of small things that hopefully add up to something good. We drink way too much tea while we are planning.
