Grasim Cement-Adityabirla Group

The office is out in Mohanpura, which is part of Kotputli. Being located in a village area means things move a bit differently than they do in the big city. We are part of the Grasim Cement Adityabirla Group setup. Most of our day is spent dealing with the dust and the trucks coming in and out of the tehsil. Jaipur is a long drive away, so we mostly stay local. It gets very busy during the construction season. You can hear the machines from the village and there is always something moving. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just us in the village office trying to keep the schedules straight. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. We know most of the people living around Mohanpura. It is a quiet place except for the cement work. We wear dusty shoes and we don't mind it much. The work is steady and that's what matters to us. We handle the logistics and the basic staff needs for the site. It is a lot of looking at clipboards and talking to drivers who have been on the road for hours. There is no point in making it sound more complicated than it is. We just show up, do the work, and go home.
