Our office is over at No. 10 in Malpani Mansion. We’re right in the middle of Film Colony, which is a busy part of Chaura Rasta. It’s a bit different than being out in a big industrial yard because we’re in a more built-up area. Film Colony has its own rhythm with lots of people coming and going all day long. Being in an older building like Malpani Mansion has its quirks, but it’s where we get all our paperwork and coordinating done for the granite. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at desks, which is a bit different from the guys out at the quarries. Chaura Rasta is always full of life, and you can find just about anything you need within a short walk. We don’t have huge piles of stone sitting right here on the street, obviously. This is more where the business side of things happens. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is busy at once. The stairs in the mansion are narrow, and we’re always carrying files up and down. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and know most of the people working in the nearby offices. It's a central location, which makes it easy to meet up with folks. It's just a regular office setup, nothing fancy, just where we work every day to keep things moving. We deal with the logistics of granite exports from this little corner.
