Gorea Charitable Foundation

Gorea Charitable Foundation is based over in Mansarover, specifically at House No. 69-339. Jaipur is a fast-growing city, but our little corner in Mansarover feels more like a regular neighborhood. We started this because we saw a lot of things that could be better around here. It’s not a fancy office building; it’s just where we live and work. We spend our days trying to figure out the best way to be charitable with what little we’ve got. Sometimes we have more volunteers, and sometimes it’s just two of us. We don't have a big budget for decorations, so the walls are mostly bare except for some calendars. We take things one day at a time. The heat in Jaipur can be something else, so we do a lot of our work in the early mornings or late evenings. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have meetings, but we make it work. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just the part we can reach from Mansarover. People know our address and they know they can knock if they need something. We don't have a fancy receptionist or anything. If the door is open, we’re there. It’s a bit unorganized at times, but we’re getting the hang of it as we go along. Every day brings something different, and we just deal with it as it comes. It keeps us on our toes.
