Multy Stone House

Multy Stone House is a bit harder to find than the big industrial yards outside town. We are located at 883 on the third floor of Ganeriwal Bhawan, tucked away in Ganga Mata Ki Gali. It’s a busy, narrow street where life always moves fast. Being up on the third floor means we are a bit removed from the noise of the alleyway, though we still hear the scooters. We don't keep large blocks of stone here because the building wouldn't be able to handle that weight. Instead, the space is filled with samples and plenty of paperwork. Small pieces of different stones are kept in every corner so people can see the colors. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or writing down various orders. Because the stairs are narrow, we have to be very careful when carrying anything up or down. It’s an old building with a lot of character, even if it wasn't originally built for a stone business. We make it work, though. Light comes in through the small windows and hits the marble samples on our desks. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the people who wander in looking for specific granite. Our operation is small, with just a few of us handling everything. We keep things organized as best as we can in the limited space we have. It’s just our daily spot where we handle all the little details.
