Golo Kirana Store

If you are looking for Golo Kirana Store, we are right near the big Pani Ki Tanki in Rajiv Nagar. It’s on the N B C Road, not too far from the Jaipur G P O. The water tank is the best landmark because everyone knows where that is. We sell all the usual kirana items like flour, spices, and cleaning supplies. The shop is small and the shelves are made of wood that we painted blue a few years ago. It’s getting a bit worn out now. Jaipur gets very hot, so we usually have the front shutter halfway down in the middle of the day to keep the sun out. The floor is tiled but some of them are cracked. We don't mind it much. There is always a bit of a breeze coming off the main road. Most of the people who come here live in Rajiv Nagar. They stop by after they get off work or while they are out running errands. We keep a ledger for some of the regulars who pay at the end of the month. It’s all very traditional. We don't have a computerized billing system, just a calculator and a pen. The G P O is close by, so sometimes we get people who are just passing through the area. We have stacks of crates for cold drinks near the entrance. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop where you can hear the traffic from N B C Road all day long.
