Golden Ceep Foundation

Golden Ceep Foundation is based in Achrol, which is out in the Amer tehsil of Jaipur. We’re located at the house of Shivraj Sharma. It’s a village and post office setup, so it’s got that rural feel you don't get in the middle of the city. We spend a lot of time outside or in the main room of the house. It’s not a formal setting at all. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and chatting with someone from the village. We don't have a big staff of people in suits. It’s mostly just local folks who know the area well. The commute to Amer can be a bit long if you’re coming from the main city, but we like it out here. It’s quieter and you can actually hear yourself think. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets. We mostly use notebooks and our phones to stay organized. Sometimes the cows walk past the door and it reminds you exactly where you are. We started this because we wanted to do something for the people around here in Achrol. It’s not about being famous or making a lot of money. It’s just about being a good neighbor and helping out with local issues. We take it one day at a time and don't worry too much about having a perfect plan. It’s just real people doing real work in a village.
