Globcity Edu. Foundation

You can find Globcity Edu. Foundation at P.N.121 in the Khatipura area of Jaipur. It’s specifically K-5 on that plot. Khatipura is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We are focused on education, but we don't act like a big, stiff school. It’s more of a place where we try to help kids and students get their head around things. The office isn't very big, so we have to be careful not to clutter it up with too many books and files, though we usually fail at that. There are papers everywhere most of the time. We aren't some corporate giant with a thousand branches. We are just here in Jaipur, doing our bit. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait for it to come back on, which gives us a chance to actually talk to each other instead of staring at screens. We don’t have any polished speeches. We just talk to parents and students like normal people. It’s a bit messy sometimes, and we might forget where we put a specific pen, but the work gets done. We like being in this neighborhood. It’s got a good energy to it. We just show up every day and do what we can to help people learn a bit more. It is practical work and it keeps us on our toes.
