German Agro Tech

We are located out on Khatipura Road, and we go by the name German Agro Tech. It sounds a bit formal, but we are really just a small group of people working with farming supplies and equipment. The road outside is always busy with tractors and trucks moving back and forth. We spend most of our time out in the back or helping someone who pulled their vehicle over to check on a part. It is dusty work, and our boots are rarely clean, but that is the nature of the business. We have been on Khatipura Road for a few years now, and we’ve gotten to know the farmers from the surrounding villages pretty well. We don't have a shiny showroom or a team of salesmen in suits. Usually, you will find us in our work shirts, surrounded by bags of seeds or metal components. We talk about the rain and the soil more than we talk about business strategies. It is just a straightforward shop where we try to have what people need when they need it. Sometimes we run out of things, and we have to wait for the next delivery, but that’s just how it goes. We keep a small kettle going for tea, and there is usually a chair free if someone wants to sit for a second. It is a basic operation, but it keeps us busy and connected to the land.
