Genpact

You can find Genpact at House Number 343 on the Gali in Jaipur, Rajasthan, 302002. It’s a typical Jaipur street, quite hot during the summer months but we have some coolers to keep the air moving. The office is inside a regular building, and we've been here for some time now. It’s not a corporate park or anything fancy like that, just a house that’s been converted into a workspace for our Genpact team. We have our computers set up in the main rooms and a small area for keeping our bags and lunch boxes. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to be too loud when we’re coming or going. Sometimes a cow wanders down the street outside, which is just how things are here. We don’t have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the house number carefully. The floor is made of that old-style stone that stays a bit cool. We spend our days typing away and talking to people on the phone. It’s a simple routine for everyone here. We usually take a break in the late afternoon to get some chai from the corner. It’s a very local feel, and we all know each other’s names and families. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office, we just want to get our work done and go home to our families. The internet cables are a bit of a mess behind the desks but we manage.
