Sansar Chandra Road is always a hub of activity. Our spot in C L Lane is right in the thick of it. Gckc Projects Private Limited has been based here for a good while. The building isn't anything to write home about, just brick and concrete that’s seen better days. Inside, we’ve got a lot of stuff piled up because there’s always something happening. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze between the desks. We have some old maps on the walls that have been there since we started. The ceiling fans work hard in the summer heat of Jaipur. You can hear the constant honking from the main road, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. We aren't big on decorations or fancy rugs. The floors are plain and the lighting is just those long tube lights. We usually eat our lunch together at the back table. It’s a simple routine. We get in early, look at what needs doing, and just start. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here; we all just pitch in. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all complain about it together. It’s a very human way to work. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just have our office and our work. It’s honest and it keeps us busy every single day of the week. Being here in the lane feels like being part of the real Jaipur.
