I have been here at Amer Road for quite some time now. People know this spot at Mohalla Handipura 247 because it is easy to find if you are walking past the main shops. I started this because there was a need for it in the neighborhood. Every morning, I open up the doors and see the same faces going to work. It is a quiet routine, but it works for me. We don’t have any fancy signs or big office staff here. It is just me most of the days, handling things as they come. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with carts and bikes, especially in the afternoons. I like being part of this community though. You get to know who lives next door and who is just passing through. My space isn't huge, but it fits what I need to get the job done. I try to stay organized with my tools and papers, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. People come in with questions and I do what I can to help them out. It isn't anything special, just honest work done right here in the mohalla. I’ve seen the road change over the years, new buildings going up and old ones getting a fresh coat of paint. But 247 stays pretty much the same. I plan on staying here as long as I can keep at it.
