Gayan Kalyan Foundation

We are right there at Plot A-5, in Shop Number 2. It’s in the New Sachivalya Vihar area of Mansarover. If you know Jaipur, you know Mansarover is a big place, but our little corner is usually pretty steady. We aren't some big operation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us in the shop most days. Sometimes the neighbor's cat wanders in, which is fine by us. We mostly spend our time looking at papers or talking to folks who stop by the shop. It’s not always glamorous work, but it feels right to be doing it here in Rajasthan. The shop isn't huge, so things can get a bit cramped when we have a lot going on. We try to keep things organized, but you know how it is when you’re busy. Sometimes the fan makes a weird clicking noise, but we’re used to it. We just wanted to have a spot where people could find us easily. Being in a shop makes us feel like part of the local market. We aren't tucked away in some high-rise building. We see the morning rush and the evening quiet. It's just a normal day-to-day life for us here at Gayan Kalyan Foundation. We do what we can with what we have. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the people living right here in Mansarover. We like the local vibe of the area.
