Fortune Management

Fortune Management operates out of the Surana Mohalla in Bikaner. Our office is in the house that belonged to the late Shri Manak Chand Surana, near Acharya Chowk. It’s an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and it can get very hot in the summer. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building itself has a lot of history. We handle various management tasks for local businesses and families. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or fancy computers. We have old wooden desks and fans that hum all day. Usually, someone is sitting by the door to greet people who come in from the heat. We know everyone in the Mohalla, and they know us. It’s a very traditional way of working. We don't use much jargon or complicated systems. If someone has a problem, they just come over and we sit down to talk about it. The pace here in Bikaner is a bit slower than the big cities, and we like it that way. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, so we keep ledgers just in case the computers aren't working. It’s a practical, down-to-earth setup. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Rajasthan. We just want to keep things running smoothly for the people who rely on us. It’s about being part of the community here at Acharya Chowk and doing our bit every day.
