Family Farmer Welfare Foundation

Our office is Flat No. 66 in the Neelgiri Apartments. We are located in Sector 10 of Indira Gandhi Nagar, which is out in Jagatpura. It is a big apartment complex so you have to look for the right block. Family Farmer Welfare Foundation is run mostly from this one flat. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working right. We have a view of the other buildings from the balcony. Jagatpura is a bit far out from the main city center but it’s growing fast. There are a lot of new shops opening up around Sector 10. Our flat is quite simple inside. We have some shelves for our records and a couple of tables where we sit. It’s not a polished business environment. It feels more like a home office. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer. Sometimes the apartment security asks a lot of questions when people come to visit. We just tell them we are in Flat 66. It’s a quiet place to work for the most part. We don't have a big budget for fancy office stuff. We just use what we have and focus on our tasks. It is a bit tight when we have more than three people in here but we manage just fine. We keep the curtains closed when the sun is too bright in the afternoon and just keep working through the heat.
