Ekta Kirana Store

Ekta Kirana Store is sitting right at number 30 on the 80 Ft Bajri Mandi Road in Panchyawala. We are directly across from the Hi-Tech Driving School, so if you are learning to drive, you’ve probably seen us. Jaipur is a big city, but here in Panchyawala, it feels more like a community. I started this shop because I wanted to do something for myself. It’s a standard kirana store where we stock all the essentials. I have flour, oils, various types of dals, and all the snacks that people like to munch on. The shop isn't very large, but I’ve managed to fit a lot of shelves in there. Sometimes it feels a bit tight when there are three or four people inside at once. I do my best to keep things clean, though the dust from the road sometimes makes it a challenge. I don’t have a big corporate philosophy or anything. I just show up, open the doors, and wait for the neighbors to come by. Most of my customers are people I see every day. We talk about the local news while I pack their groceries. It’s a practical way to make a living. I don't use any fancy sales tactics. If someone needs a kilo of sugar, I give it to them and that’s that. It’s just a regular life here on Bajri Mandi Road, and I’m happy to be a part of it.
