Doitc - Osd, Forest Department-Ap

Our office for Doitc - Osd, Forest Department-Ap is tucked away in the It Bhavan on Tilak Marg. We are situated right behind the Secretariat and near Yojana Bhavan here in Jaipur. It is a busy government area with lots of people coming and going. We handle the technical side of things for the forest department. Most of our days are spent in front of computer screens or going through files. It is not a retail shop or a factory, but it stays busy in a different way. There is always some paperwork to process or a system that needs looking at. Being so close to the Secretariat means there is always a lot of security and activity outside. We drink a lot of chai in the afternoons to keep going. The building itself is quite large and it can be a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. We aren't here to sell anything. We just make sure the digital parts of the forest department keep running like they are supposed to. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours, other times it’s just quiet desk work. It’s a steady job in a serious part of the city. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and it just feels like home for the work we do. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the main gate to our desk because the building is so big and spread out.
