It’s nothing like those big offices you see in the city center. We have mismatched chairs and a fan that clicks a bit too loud. We focus on education and growth, but we do it in a very hands-on way. There isn't any corporate jargon here. We just talk like normal people. We started this because we thought we could help students and local workers get a bit further ahead. It’s hard work and some days are slower than others. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time on the phone. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry when it rains. We don’t have a fancy website with stock photos. It’s just our small team working away. Most of the people who come to see us are from the surrounding blocks. We like it that way. It keeps us grounded and reminds us why we opened the doors in the first place. It is a simple life here, but we find it very satisfying.
