Dinesh Kumar Sharma

I run my business out of my place in Jhotwara, over at Durga Vihar Colony, house number 17. My name is Dinesh Kumar Sharma. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. I like that because I can actually hear myself think while I’m working. I don't have a big storefront or neon signs. It’s just a room I’ve converted into an office space. I started doing this because I wanted to be close to my family and avoid a long commute every day. Most of the people I work with are locals or people who have known me for years. I don't use any fancy sales tactics or brochures. I just tell people what I can do and then I do it. Sometimes the neighbors' kids are playing outside and it gets a little loud, but that’s just life in the colony. My desk is usually covered in papers and my tea cup is rarely empty. I handle all the phone calls and the filing myself. It’s a one-man show for the most part. I don't need much more than a good chair and a working fan. It’s a practical setup that fits my life perfectly. I’ve been in Jhotwara for a long time and I don't plan on moving anytime soon. I prefer the slow and steady approach to getting things finished for my customers.
