Digital Saarthi Foundation

Digital Saarthi Foundation is based at 36, Raj Vihar II, though the official number on the documents is 374/20. It can be a little confusing for people trying to find us for the first time. We are located in a residential part of Raj Vihar, which makes for a fairly calm working environment. Our focus is mainly on helping people get a handle on digital stuff, which is why we have a few old computers set up in the back. It’s not a high-tech lab or anything like that. It’s just a room where we sit down with folks and show them how to use the internet or fill out forms online. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a keyboard. Sometimes the power goes out or the connection drops, but we just wait it out and get back to work. We don't charge much because we know people are just trying to learn. The neighborhood is mostly families, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of them over the years. We aren't looking to become a big tech company. We just like being the local "saarthi" or guide for people who feel left behind by all the new technology. It’s a quiet life, but it feels good to be useful to our neighbors in Raj Vihar.
