Dhanvantri Clinic

Dhanvantri Clinic is out on Road No 17 in the Vkia area. It’s mostly an industrial zone, so there are a lot of warehouses and factories all around us. It isn’t the prettiest place to have a clinic, but it’s where we are needed. The road is always full of big trucks and the air can get a bit dusty from all the industrial activity. Our clinic is a simple one-story building. We don’t have any fancy signs, just the name Dhanvantri Clinic on a board outside. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have a small waiting area with a few plastic chairs and a desk where I keep the registers. People working in the nearby factories often come in during their lunch breaks or after their shifts are done. We see a lot of minor injuries and general sickness. I usually start the day by sweeping out the dust that blows in from Road No 17. It’s a constant battle, but we try to keep the place as clean as we can. There’s no air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. We don’t spend money on marketing or anything like that because everyone on this side of Vkia already knows where to find us. It’s a hardworking neighborhood, and we just try to provide a basic service for the people who live and work around here. It's a plain, honest kind of place for the community.
