Devki Marbles

Devki Marbles is located out on Jaipur Bypass Road, right near the Shradha Dharam Kanta. Being near the GPO area means there is usually a fair amount of traffic passing by our front door every day. We spend most of our time out in the yard looking over the different batches of marble that come in on the trucks. It gets pretty loud with the vehicles moving in and out, especially since the bypass road is always busy with people traveling. The place stays busy enough with contractors and homeowners coming in to pick out stone for their projects. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen how the road has changed over the years. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and manual labor, which is just how it is in this line of work. We don't go for anything fancy here. The office is small and mostly filled with paperwork and various samples of stone that we’ve collected. We mostly just talk to people about what they're looking for and show them what is currently sitting in the yard. Sometimes we have a lot of one type and not much of another, it just depends on the week and what the suppliers send us. The dust is a constant thing, you just learn to live with it after a while. We stay open pretty late most days to make sure we finish up whatever needs doing. It’s just a local business trying to keep things moving.
