Dalima'S Duniya Foundation

We’re based out of 33 Sanjay Nagar B, right off Kalwad Road in the Jhotwara part of Jaipur. Dalima'S Duniya Foundation is really a project that grew out of a small idea we had a few years back. The house we work from is usually pretty loud because there’s always someone coming or going. We have a lot of stuff tucked into the corners, mostly supplies for the different things we have going on in the neighborhood. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially on Tuesday mornings when we have our weekly catch-up. Jaipur can get incredibly hot in the summer, so we spent some money on a decent cooler for the main room, which helps us stay sane while we work. We aren't a big foundation with a lot of funding. We just use what we have and try to make it work. Most of our neighbors know us by name and stop by to drop off things or just to say hello. It’s that kind of place. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just talk to people, see what’s needed, and try to fill the gaps. It’s simple, maybe a bit old-fashioned, but it’s how we like to operate. If you ever find yourself on Kalwad Road, you can usually spot our gate. It’s the one with the slightly crooked sign that we keep meaning to fix but never quite get around to.
