Dainik Bhaskar Jaipur

Our office is located at 123 Balwant Niwas on Getore Road. We are in the Brahampuri area of Jaipur, which is a place with a lot of character. Dainik Bhaskar Jaipur has been operating from this building for quite some time. It's an old-style place, not one of those new glass towers you see in other parts of the city. We like the feel of it, though. It has a bit of history to it. On a typical day, you’ll find us sitting around the big wooden tables, going over the local reports. The windows look out onto the street, so we see everyone passing by. It can get a bit dusty with the Jaipur wind, but we just wipe off the desks and keep going. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us writing and editing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we usually have enough tea to keep us occupied. People in Brahampuri often drop by just to say hello or tell us something they saw in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just want to get the local stories right and make sure people know what’s happening around Getore Road. It's a simple operation, really. Just a bunch of us working at Balwant Niwas every day of the week.
