If you head over to S C Rd in Jaipur, you’ll find us in the City Center building at number 114. D D Bhandari Co has been operating out of this room for quite some time. The building itself is usually bustling with people going to different shops and offices. Our space is just a basic office where we handle our daily tasks. It’s got a tiled floor that’s easy to clean and a few cabinets for our files. Jaipur gets quite dusty, so we spend a fair bit of time wiping down the desks. The view from the window is mostly just the other side of the shopping complex. It’s a convenient location because there are plenty of places to grab a quick lunch nearby. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern place in the city. We just have our routine and we stick to it. The lights in the hallway flickered for a week before someone finally fixed them, which is just how things go here sometimes. Most people who come to see us are people we’ve known for years. We usually have the radio playing softly in the corner to keep things from being too quiet during the day. It’s a steady kind of life. We show up, do what needs doing, and lock up when the sun starts to go down. It’s just our little corner of the City Center.
