Counselor Cum Hr Executive

I work as a Counselor Cum Hr Executive at 782 Ban Walon Ka Darwaza, which is right on Chaura Rasta in the heart of Jaipur. If you’ve ever walked through the old city, you know how vibrant and crowded Chaura Rasta can be. It’s a place full of history and shops selling everything you can imagine. Our office is located near the Ban Walon Ka Darwaza landmark. It’s an old building, which means the walls are thick and the rooms have a bit of a different feel compared to the new constructions in Malviya Nagar or Vaishali. I handle both counseling and some HR tasks from this one desk. It gets pretty busy because the two roles overlap more than you might think. People come in from the heat and the noise of the street into this small, quiet space. We don't have a big team or any fancy software. It’s mostly just me and a few others keeping track of things. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the street noise gets really loud, but that’s just life in Jaipur. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just offer practical help to whoever needs it, whether it's about their job or something more personal. It’s a busy life, but it’s real and it’s right in the middle of everything. We spend our days meeting people from all walks of life here.
