Our office for Connexxions It Services Pvt Ltd is over at Hno 51 on Mahesh Marg. It’s in the C Scheme area of Jaipur, which is a pretty central spot to be in. The building itself has that older Jaipur charm, not like those new steel and glass blocks they’re putting up everywhere else. It gets incredibly hot here in the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are running right. Inside, it’s just a bunch of us working away. We don’t have a big reception desk or someone in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find someone at their desk. We’ve got stacks of papers and various bits of tech lying around, which might look messy to some, but we know exactly where everything is. The street outside, Mahesh Marg, is usually busy, but once you get inside the house, it’s relatively quiet. We like the vibe of being in a residential-turned-commercial area. It feels more personal than being in a massive IT park on the outskirts of the city. Lunch breaks usually mean someone is heading out to grab kachoris for the group from the vendor down the street. It’s a simple way of working, without any of the corporate stress or forced fun you see at other places. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay cool while we do it. It works for us and our small team here.
