Competency Tutorials

Nemi Nagar is a nice part of Vaishali Nagar to be in. We are at number 104, right by Gate No 7 on Ashram Marg. The Bharat Apartment is the big landmark nearby if you are looking for us. Competency Tutorials isn't a very large place, but we have enough space for the groups that come in. There’s a main hallway and then the rooms where the teaching happens. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are covered with so many posters and student work that you barely notice. We have a few cupboards where we keep all the old test papers and textbooks. It’s usually a bit of a rush in the late afternoon when the schools let out and everyone arrives at once. We spend our time going over the syllabus and making sure everyone is on the right page. There is a small porch outside where students sometimes stand and talk before their parents pick them up. It’s a busy house, basically. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just the basic stuff you need to explain a lesson properly. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which helps when we are trying to do some of the more difficult subjects. We’ve been here for a good while and it’s just our daily routine now to open up and get everything ready for the day. There's always a bit of dust on the window sills, but that's just how it is.
