Chocopacks Chocolates

Out on Dr Kishore Singh Road in Ambabari, you will find our little operation. We focus on chocolates and how they are put together, which involves a lot of sitting at tables and working with our hands. Ambabari is a decent place to work, though the road can get a bit noisy with people passing by all day. Our space isn't huge, so we have to stay organized, or everything turns into a mess pretty quickly. There is always the smell of cocoa in the air, which you get used to after about ten minutes of being here. We spend a lot of time checking the wrappers and making sure the boxes aren't crushed. It is repetitive, and sometimes your back starts to ache after a few hours, but it is the job. We have some local ladies who help us out when things get really busy, and we usually have the radio playing in the background to keep everyone's spirits up. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of what we do is just manual labor and keeping an eye on the clock to make sure deliveries are ready when the van arrives. The weather really affects the chocolate, so we are always checking the thermometers and worrying about the heat. It is a small business life, with all the little headaches and small wins that come with it. We just keep at it every day.
