Chhaya Coaching Center

Chhaya Coaching Center is based at 83 Tara Nagar-A in the Jhotwara area. We’ve been here for a while now because we saw how much students were struggling with their schoolwork and needed a bit of extra help outside the classroom. It’s a simple setup in a residential neighborhood, so it feels more like a home than a school. We have some benches and a blackboard, and that’s about it. Most of the kids come here after their regular school day is over, so they’re often a bit tired, but we try to keep them focused on their tasks. We cover different subjects depending on what the students need help with at the time. It’s not a big institution with hundreds of people; it’s just a few groups of students and us sitting down to go over math or science problems. Sometimes we have to stay a bit later if an exam is coming up, and parents often drop by to see how their kids are doing. The street outside is usually quiet, which helps with the concentration. We don’t have a fancy reception or a big marketing budget. We just rely on the fact that we’re here in Jhotwara and can help the local kids get through their exams. It’s busy work, and sometimes the room gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. It’s just about helping students understand their lessons better so they feel more confident.
