Shree Neelkanth Moorti Bhandar

Our workshop, Shree Neelkanth Moorti Bhandar, is located right in the middle of Chandpole Bazar at 1369 Khejron Ka Rasta. We are situated near 2nd Crossing Near 2nd Crossing, and the streets in this part of town are always packed with people, scooters, and a lot of energy. It can be a bit difficult to find the shop if you aren't used to the narrow lanes of the old market, but once you get close, you will definitely hear the sound of hammers and chisels hitting stone. We don't have a big corporate office with a desk. Instead, we have a workspace where the floor is almost always covered in a layer of white stone dust. That is just part of the job when you spend your life working on statues and idols. It is a family tradition we have been keeping up for many generations here in the city. Sometimes the tea stall guy from around the corner brings us some hot tea and snacks, and we just sit among the unfinished stone pieces to eat and talk. It is not a quiet place, and it is certainly not a clean one, but it is where we have spent most of our lives. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or have a website with professional photos of our work. People usually just walk in because they saw something we made or heard about us from their neighbors. It is a simple life.
