Chandna Marbles

Chandna Marbles is at Plot No. C-18 in the Banipark area. We are right opposite Kp Automotives, so it’s pretty easy to spot us from the road. This part of town is usually quite busy. We have a decent space here where we keep our marble stock. It’s not a huge warehouse, but we fit a lot in. We deal with people who are doing up their homes or building small offices nearby. Usually, it’s just me and a couple of helpers at the shop. We spend a lot of time cleaning the slabs so people can see the patterns clearly. Marble is funny because every piece looks different once you wet it down. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes people just stop by for a chat while they are getting their cars fixed across the street. We don’t do any fancy marketing. Most of our business comes from people seeing our sign or hearing about us from a friend. The office is small and usually has blueprints lying around. We try to be helpful when people are confused about what stone to pick. It’s a slow process sometimes, choosing the right look for a kitchen or a floor. We just wait and let them decide. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't try to be anything we are not, just a local marble shop.
