Ashi Overseas

Ashi Overseas is right in the middle of everything at the Bairathi Complex on M.I. Road. Specifically, we are at B-11, which is part of the Chameliwala Market. If you know M.I. Road, you know it’s one of the busiest places you could choose to be. There’s a constant stream of people and cars, and the noise from the market is something you just get used to after a week or two. Our spot is in the complex, so it’s a bit shielded from the direct heat, but it stays busy inside too. We deal with overseas trade, mostly handling the logistics and the paperwork that comes with moving goods across borders. It isn’t a glamorous job, sitting behind a desk with stacks of papers and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. Most of our stuff is practical and maybe a bit worn out from use. We see a lot of different faces coming through the market, and sometimes people just stop in to ask for directions because of where we are located. We don't have a mission or a grand vision to talk about. We just try to make sure the shipments leave on time and that the people we work with are satisfied with what they get. It’s just the daily grind of a market business, and we’re okay with that.
