Our office is located at 46 Shivraj Niketan Colony in the Vaishali Nagar area of Jaipur. It’s a nice, quiet street, which is a bit of a relief from the main roads. This branch of Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Ltd isn't some massive corporate hub. It’s a local office where we handle our daily business in a much more personal setting. The building is a regular house that’s been put to use for work. We have desks in the main rooms and a small area in the back where we keep our files. The Jaipur heat can be quite something, so we keep the fans and the AC going pretty much all day. It’s a small team, maybe just a handful of us on a regular day. We know the neighbors, and sometimes we see them out on their porches when we arrive in the morning. Inside, the walls are a simple white, and we’ve got a few potted plants near the windows to make it feel a bit more like a home. We don't have any fancy software to track our every move; we just trust each other to get the work done. Lunch is usually a shared affair with everyone bringing something different to the table. It’s a very relaxed way to spend the day, and it helps us stay focused on the tasks without feeling like we’re stuck in a cubicle. We just do our work, chat a bit, and then close up for the evening.
