Our bakery is located at G 10 in Jagdamba Tower. Being right near Amrapali Circle in Vaishali Nagar means the area is usually packed with people. We spend the bulk of our time in the back, handling whatever orders came in that morning. The job isn't very glamorous at all. Flour ends up on the floor and there are always dishes waiting to be washed. We are just a small group of people who enjoy the process of baking. Instead of big corporate strategies, we just open the doors and see who walks through. Jagdamba Tower has many other shops, so there is a lot of foot traffic. Some days everything sells out quickly, while other days are much slower. Having been in Vaishali Nagar for years, we know many of our regulars by name. It is always nice when someone tells us they enjoyed a cake we made for a family event. We don't bother with mission statements or complicated philosophies. Keeping the oven at the right temperature and using fresh ingredients is our main concern. It is simple work that happens to take up all our time. Usually, we are here late into the evening preparing for the next day. That is just how life is for us at the bakery. We just keep moving forward and doing what needs to be done to keep the doors open and the ovens hot.
