Christmas Gift Box

Our shop is located at 2891 Bhindo Ka Rasta. It’s right near Indra Bazar and Kalyan Ji Ka Rasta, which are always packed with people and rickshaws. If you find the fourth chauraha, you’re basically there at our doorstep. We’re also quite close to the police chowki, which is a good landmark for people who get lost in these winding streets. The lanes are very narrow here in this part of the city, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze getting through. Christmas Gift Box is our name, and we spend our time putting together things for people who need them. The area is full of colors and loud sounds from all the other shops nearby. We have boxes piled up everywhere inside our small space. It’s a bit disorganized at times, especially when a big order comes in and we're rushing to finish. We don't have a fancy display window or anything like that. People just know where we are in the Bhindo Ka Rasta area. The building is old, like most of the structures around Indra Bazar. We sit on the floor sometimes to pack things because it’s actually easier than using the tables. It’s a lot of folding cardboard and taping things up until the job is done. The local tea seller brings us hot chai twice a day, which is the highlight of the afternoon for the staff. It’s a busy, cramped, and very lively place to work.
