You can find Bharat Building Material Stores right at the first crossing of Nataniyon Ka Rasta in Tripoliya Bazar. This part of the city is always full of life and noise. We’ve been here at this corner for years. It’s a lot of dust and heavy lifting. We sell the basics that people need for their houses. Cement, bricks, and whatever else is in stock at the time. The shop isn't big, so we have to stack things high. You have to be careful when you walk through so you don’t trip over a pipe or a bag of sand. It’s a family-run place. My uncle sits at the main desk most mornings. He knows everyone who walks by. We don’t really use computers for much, we still use the big ledger books for most of our notes. It’s just how we’ve always done it. The traffic in Tripoliya Bazar is legendary, so we get a lot of people stopping in because they’re stuck in a jam anyway. We talk about the weather and the local news while we load up orders. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but it keeps us busy. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city, just the one that’s there when you need a few things to fix a wall or start a small project. It’s a simple, dusty life but we like it.
