Bhandari L M is situated on Bhawani Singh Road at A12. It’s a decent-sized road with a fair amount of activity. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a door and a sign. Inside, we have our desks and some old filing cabinets that have been there for years. We aren't a huge corporation with departments for everything. We just do our work and go home. Most of the day is spent handling local inquiries and keeping our records straight. The neighborhood is okay, and we’ve gotten to know the other business owners nearby. We don’t spend much on advertising or trying to look bigger than we are. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at A12 for a while. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times it’s quiet enough to read the newspaper. We don't have a mission statement or any of those modern business phrases. We just believe in getting the job done so we can get on with our lives. It’s a very practical way of running things. We have a small kettle for making tea and that’s about as fancy as it gets. People know us as the place on Bhawani Singh Road where they can get their business handled without a lot of talking. It’s just how we like to operate. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but life goes on.
